Thoughtful Design for Universal Play

From the moment you arrive, you'll experience a commitment to accessibility. The playground is integrated into Jacobson Plaza at The Falls, with an accessible walkway from the parking lot. The chosen surfacing throughout the playground is unitary surfacing, a smooth, continuous surface that allows easy mobility for everyone, including those using wheelchairs or strollers. This surface connects seamlessly with all surrounding sidewalk ensuring that individuals using any type of mobility device, or those pushing strollers, can easily access all features on the playground.

Shade structures are strategically incorporated in multiple seating areas and within the play structures themselves. These canopies help protect visitors against sun and heat exposure, making play possible for all, especially for children whose medical conditions or medications may limit their time in direct sunlight or high heat. Ample seating is provided throughout, offering comfortable places to relax.
